Western New England University (WNEU) has opened a new extended reality (XR) lab, which provides students and faculty with access to the latest in virtual (VR), augmented (AR), and mixed reality (MR) technologies.

Maria College, a private college in Albany, N.Y., announced the opening of its new Center for Academic Innovation (CAI), which includes more than 1,000 square feet of extended reality (XR) technologies to train students in nursing, anatomy and physiology, and human biology.

The University of Michigan (UM) now offers three online courses that incorporate extended reality (XR).
